MY FRIENDS TIGGER & POOH follows newcomers 6-year-old Darby (voiced by Chloe Grace Moretz) and her puppy, Buster (Dee Baker), as they set off on adventures in their new home. (Pooh's traditional human pal, Christopher Robin, is nowhere to be found in this iteration.) And when there's a mystery to be solved, her new friends are quick to ask for help. Together with Pooh (Jim Cummings) and Tigger (Cummings again), Darby and Buster don their Super Sleuth costumes and set to work gathering clues.
Life in the Hundred Acre Wood is always full of fun and frolic, especially when there are new friends to share it with. And for Darby and Buster, being with friends like Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore often means helping them puzzle through the curious things that happen in their everyday lives. As the team solves mysteries, they show preschoolers the value of being inquisitive and reflective about the world around them -- as well as the benefits of teamwork. Throughout the discovery process, the characters interact directly with their young viewers, posing questions like \"Can you think of where that might be\" and pausing for answers. They also encourage little ones' participation in catchy sing-along songs that quickly become familiar to regular viewers.

My Friends Tigger & Pooh is an American computer animated television series, inspired by Winnie-the-Pooh by A.A. Milne. The television series features Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends, including two new characters: a brave, tomboyish six-year-old red-headed girl named Darby and her dog, Buster. Darby is the main human friend of Pooh and the gang and the leader of the Super Sleuths, while her older best friend, Christopher Robin, has moved away and only appears in two episodes.
My Friends Tigger & Pooh has been enjoying a successful television run on Playhouse Disney since 2007. The purist in me really prefers the simple pastel-like animation of the hand drawn Winnie the Pooh films, so I admit I have a tough time with the look of My Friends Tigger & Pooh. I think the CGI is handled well but I just don't like the look. That said, my younger kids don't seem to mind. They'll take Pooh and his friends however they can get them. My 10-year-old daughter, however, notices a difference. I'm sure her old man had something to do with it, but she prefers the old school look of the Hundred Acre Wood as well. That said, once you get past the look, Tigger & Pooh and a Musical Too exudes the usual charm of all the previous incarnations of the silly old bear and his pals.
This leads to much sadness as friends are separated and all is just not right in the usually peaceful world of Pooh and his pals. After much soul searching and song singing, Rabbit realizes the error of his ways, un-elects himself mayor and erases the line. All is well once again and happy songs are sung in The Hundred Acre Wood. No surprise here, a happy ending is the best ending when it comes to Winnie the Pooh and friends and of course, they've all learned a valuable lesson.
